After a well deserved rest in August, September started with a bang! There has been a treasure hunt, a Clocs ffit session with Tudur Phillips and a visit from Ian Kendall and the Ceffyl Gwyn dancers all the way from Australia!
We must also congratulate Tudur and his new wife Anni on their marriage at the beginning of summer - best wishes to you both from all of the Dawnswyr Talog dancers.
Our next concert will be the National Cerdd Dant Festival Concert at Llandysul on November 4th.
2016 National Eisteddfod
Once again, Dawnswyr Talog dancers had a busy week at the National Eisteddfod, which was held this year in Abergavenny.
On the Monday we had the pleasure of entertaining along the festival field and taking part in a drama about the life of Lady Augusta Hall, one of the main patrons of Welsh culture in the nineteenth century. The rest of the week was taken up with various dance and stepping competitions. There were many successes and we must thank all our instructors, musicians and dancers for their hard work. It was certainly a memorable week!
